Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced yard manager to oversee our daily yard operations. As the yard manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring workflow procedures are carried out in an efficient manner and the overall safety policy and procedures are followed. You will be responsible for managing a team of yard workers, maintaining yard equipment, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies. This includes equipment maintenance and ordering parts and supplies according to company policies. Training will be provided. Pay is negotiable according to experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of yard workers, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure quality work and adherence to procedures
• Initiate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, customers, and vendors to maintain a positive and productive work environment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver License
• Willing to undergo a background check
