Job Description Job Description CABLE TECHNICIANS – DATA CENTERHigh‐Volume | Fast‐Paced | Immediate NeedWe're hiring experienced Cable Technicians to support large‐scale, mission‐critical data center builds . This is high‐count, high‐urgency work for technicians who can move fast, maintain quality, and consistently hit production targets. If you're strong in ribbon splicing, comfortable in live data center environments, and take pride in output—we want you on this project.COMPENSATION & SCHEDULEHourly Pay (Based on Experience):Tech I: $20.00 - $23.00/hrTech II: $23.00 - $25.00/hrTech III: $25.00 - $28.00/hr12‐hour shifts | 5–7 days/week (60–80 hrs/week)Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hoursPer diem (for candidates outside a 100‐mile radius)Depending on the client, per diem may be paid directly or monetized into the hourly rateWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGPull, route, and stage cable (fiber and low‐voltage copper) through ladder racks, trays, conduit, and raised floors in active data center environmentsFollow cable pathways and drawings to ensure accurate placement and routing per project design and standardsSupport installation of structured cabling systems , including CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A and fiber optic cablesCable dressing and management , keeping runs neat, bundled, and secured to data center best practicesLabel cables and assist with documentation to support testing, troubleshooting, and future maintenancePerform physically demanding work , such as lifting cable reels, climbing ladders/lifts, and working long shifts in mission‐critical environmentsREQUIREMENTSAbility to pass a background check (i.e., no felonies, misdemeanors, or open cases within the last 7 years)Valid Driver's license + reliable transportation to and from job sitesWorking cellphone for daily communicationStrong reliability and willingness to learnProper PPE: Class 2 Vest, Type 2 Hard Hat, Level 4 cut-resistant glovesWHY THIS PROJECTLong‐term data center work with consistent demandHigh cable volume = steady hours and stabilityClear expectations and strong field supportIdeal for splicers who want fast pace, consistent work, and real production impact
