Now Hiring: Batch Plant Loader OperatorGregory Construction is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Batch Plant Loader Operator to support our mobile concrete batch plant operations throughout Louisiana and Texas.This role is essential to maintaining efficient concrete production by safely operating a front-end loader, managing aggregate materials, and supporting overall batch plant operations.This is a traveling position. Candidates must be willing and able to mobilize, demobilize, and relocate with the batch plant as projects are completed and new projects begin. Per diem is provided when working away from home, in accordance with company policy.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a front-end loader to load aggregate bins, hoppers, and stockpiles accurately and efficientlyMaintain continuous material flow to meet batch plant production demandsSupport batching operations and assist the Batchman as neededMonitor aggregate moisture, cleanliness, and consistencyBuild, maintain, and manage aggregate stockpilesPrevent cross-contamination and material segregationEnsure proper material handling to maintain quality standardsAssist with batch plant setup, teardown, relocation, and demobilizationPerform routine cleaning and housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areasConduct documented pre- and post-operation equipment inspectionsPerform basic preventive maintenance (greasing, fluid checks, cleaning)Report equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns immediatelyOperate equipment in compliance with OSHA, MSHA (if applicable), and company safety policiesParticipate in safety meetings, training sessions, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)Wear required PPE at all times and maintain strong jobsite awarenessQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience operating a front-end loaderValid driver's licenseAbility and willingness to travel for projectsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and safely climb on and off equipmentMust pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkExperience in a concrete batch plant, quarry, or construction environmentOSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety trainingWhat We ValueAt Gregory Construction, we live by our core values: Safety, Integrity, Communication, Excellence, and Determination.
