Summary:
The Grocery Customer Service Associate plays a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement at our store. This position involves grocery sacking, providing assistance to guests, and maintaining a clean front-end environment. You will also carry groceries to guests' vehicles and perform various other duties as needed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge guests as they enter your area, creating a friendly atmosphere.
  • Deliver exceptional service by efficiently sacking groceries and assisting guests with their bags to their vehicles.
  • Safely navigate in and out of the store while providing carry-out services.
  • Encourage guests to participate in satisfaction surveys and our rewards program.
  • Utilize resources effectively to help maintain store profitability.
  • Adhere to your daily work schedule as assigned by management.
  • Follow the team member dress code as outlined in the handbook.
  • Comply with attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Report any spills or item damage to management immediately, ensuring guest safety.
  • Follow training protocols for sacking to maintain guest safety and convenience.
  • Adapt to changing guest flow by moving between check stands as necessary.
  • Engage politely with guests throughout the store, including in grocery aisles and the parking lot.
  • Restock sack supplies as needed to ensure availability.
  • Assist with stocking duties when assigned by management, including replenishing essential items such as milk, bread, and eggs.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by management to support store operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while remaining efficient and controlled.
  • Capability to physically perform all aspects of the sacker/stocker role, including bending, lifting, standing, squatting, and walking.
  • Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 80 lbs. regularly.
  • Proficient in placing heavy items in vehicles safely and comfortably.
  • Open to feedback and coaching regarding performance and workplace attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
