Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and sketches
Complete tasks such as, but not limited to, concrete forms and braces, handrails, stairs,
Prepare layout
Perform skilled carpentry work such as repairing and constructing all aspects of architectural building
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures
Wood and metal stud framing.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools and shop machinery in conjunction with proper
Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
Assist the superintendent in performing duties
Prepare surfaces for paint and other
Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts in conjunction with proper
Other job duties as assigned
Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Qualifications and Requirements
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in skilled carpentry
High school diploma or equivalent desired
Must successfully complete and pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing
OSHA 10 certification preferred
Valid driver's record preferred
