Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service at various worksite locations. The role involves performing venipuncture, collecting and preparing specimens, ensuring proper specimen processing, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between worksites to provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
- Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
- Collect and prepare non-blood specimens.
- Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
- Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
- Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
- Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
- Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
