A midstream construction company that specializes in construction of natural gas reciprocating compressor stations, natural gas turbine compressor stations, meter and pump stations associated with oil & gas industry currently has an opening in our corporate office located in Abilene, TX for a Project Manager.

Project management responsibilities include the following:

• Manage projects from the corporate office

• Communicate with customer's project manager concerning all matters associated with their respective project (e.g. schedule, on-site issues, extra work, permitting, etc.)

• Collaborate with scheduling, as necessary, to develop, review and maintain project schedules

• Work closely with field supervision

• Keep projects on track with the use of project controls

• Take charge and complete other tasks associated with project management

• Travel as needed

• Other tasks associated with project management

Project manager skills include:

• Excellent writing and communication skills for writing procedures and policies

• Ability to take lead on a project

• Proficient in Excel, MS Project, Word

• Excellent skills at interpreting construction drawings

• Ability to understanding scope of work documents

• Excellent time management & organizational skills

• Ability to develop project specific plans as necessary

• Ability to work in a team environment
